Managing the Dashboard
On the Dashboard tab, you can control the display of items, or widgets, for a template in Employee Portal (EP). Several default widgets which you can move, rename, or hide are available on the Configuration Templates form.
Note: When you add or change a Dashboard item, the system updates all clients associated with the template.
The default items include:

You can also create custom items (for example, Site Unavailable Message, Open Enrollment, and Contacts).

To move a Dashboard item, click and . |
|

To show or hide a Dashboard item, click or . |

To delete a Dashboard item, click . |
Note: Note that you cannot delete a default Dashboard item, but you can hide it or rename it. You can delete custom Dashboard items.
Creating a Custom Widget
To create a custom widget:

Click the WORK CENTERS menu. |

2.
|
From the Employee Experience Work Center, click Employee Experience Configuration. The Employee Experience Configuration form opens. |

3.
|
Click Configuration Templates. The Configuration Templates form opens. |
|
4.
|
Click the Dashboard tab. |
|
5.
|
Click (New Custom Widget). A new custom widget displays. |
|
6.
|
Complete the following fields: |
Title
|
Enter the name of the widget.
|
Widget Visibility
|
To enable visibility for managers only, select the Manager option. To enable visibility for employees only, select the Employees option. Select the Employees and Manager option to enable visibility for all employees.

Targeted Segment
|
To limit which employees see the widget in EP, select a segment from the list.
For example, you can create a segment specific to one company, then target the widget at the segment so only that company and their employees see the widget in EP. To create segments, use the Segments form. For more information, see See Creating Segments.
To view read‑only information about the selected segment, click View Segment.

To apply the changes to specific clients, click Apply to Client(s). In the Client Search, select the clients to use the template and click Apply.
