State Filing Status Missing

FILING STATUS MISSING, EMPLOYEE ID {######}, STATE {NN}

The employee does not have a filing status for the state in which he or she works. Adjust the filing status for this employee.

To resolve this error:

1. Make sure the correct client record is shown near the top of the page. If not, click on it and then select the correct client.
2. Open Employee Details (found in the HR menu under HR|Change).
3. Enter the Employee ID.
4. Select the Tax tab.
5. Enter the correct information in the State Tax Filings panel (State, Filing Status, Allow., and so on as required for the employee).
6. Click Save.
