Benefit Enrollment Workflows

The Benefit Enrollment Workflows option on the Enhanced Dashboard is used to view information about active benefits enrollment workflows.

When this option is selected in the first drop-down, a color-coded pie chart displays to indicate the number of workflows in each status and the percentage of total active workflows made up by each status. In addition, a list of employees who have an active workflow displays in the data table, and a second drop-down displays to allow the user to filter the chart and table based on enrollment type.

Note:  The data table only displays employees to which the user has been granted access using the Users form (See Editing a User).

Viewing Employee Details

In the data table, click an employee's name in the Employee Name column or click an employee's ID number in the Employee ID column display the Employee Details form, where information about the employee can be reviewed or modified (See Maintaining Employee Details).

Note:  Reviewing employee information using these links requires inquiry access to the Employee Details form, and modifying employee information using these links requires full access to the Employee Details form. Access to this form can be granted to the User Role assigned to the user using the User Roles form (See Editing a User Role).

Actions

Click the Actions link for an employee to display a list of additional functions that can be performed for the employee.

Option

Description

Archive

This option is used to archive the employee's benefit enrollment workflow. When this option is selected, a message displays to indicate that archiving the workflow will prevent the employee from being able to complete the enrollment and that the workflow's end date will be unable to be extended. Click Yes to archive the workflow, or click No to close the message window without archiving the workflow.

Note:  This option is available if the User Role assigned to the user has been granted full access to Web Enrollment Configuration using the User Roles form. Otherwise, the option displays when the Actions link is clicked but cannot be selected.

Extend

This option is used to extend the end date of the employee's benefit enrollment workflow. When this option is selected, a dialog displays to allow the user to enter a new end date for the enrollment. Enter the date and click Extend to apply the new end date. A message window displays to indicate the update was successful.

Note:  This option is available if the User Role assigned to the user has been granted full access to Web Enrollment Configuration using the User Roles form. Otherwise, the option displays when the Actions link is clicked but cannot be selected.

Proxy

This option is used to access the Proxy Login form, where the user can complete the workflow on behalf of the employee (See Logging in as an Employee).

Note:  This option is available if the User Role assigned to the user has been granted full access to Proxy Login using the User Roles form and the Enrollment Proxy role or the Onboarding Proxy role has also been assigned to the user using the Human Resource Roles panel on the Users form. Otherwise, the option displays when the Actions link is clicked but cannot be selected.

View Web Enrollment

This option is used to access the Web Enrollment Configuration form, where the user can review information about the employee's enrollment period (See Changing an Enrollment Period). When the Web Enrollment Configuration form is accessed using this link, enrollment period information for the employee cannot be modified.
